Just in time, here comes another, this time from a sneaker-wearing reader named Rod.

As well as a reader, Rod has been a longtime business rival as well as crosstown Village rival (he’s East, I’m West). He found this delightful t-shirt in the neutral territory of Soho, at the Uniqlo store.

“I have no idea what this is, but I’m very tempted to buy it for you,” he said in a text message, which this vacationing blogger received several days after the fact.

Very exciting! Did he actually buy it?

No. But he knows how to let a girl down easy. “I couldn’t figure out if you were a S or XS,” he said.
